Austin Aspires is promoting September as “Attendance Awareness Month”. When we reached out to community partners to join us in this effort we were met with positive opportunities to collaborate.
Mayo Clinic Health Systems pediatricians are sharing information with families at back to school check-ups about the importance of school attendance. Several community agencies including the Salvation Army and Austin Public and Pacelli Catholic Schools are also promoting messages about going to school every day with students and families.
We urge all local organizations and community members to encourage positive attendance behaviors in all our young people. Please visit www.attendanceworks.org or contact Austin Aspires (507.437.0920) if you would like to promote positive attendance within your organization!
