Early last year the folks in Healthier Choices Goal Group began to consider how to create opportunities for citizens to take small steps in improving their health. The group determined it wanted to consider ways that citizens could engage in healthy living regardless of location, age or economic status.
Wellness Wednesdays. Noun. One day each week to intentionally make healthy choices easier for yourself and those around you; mid-point to explore new ideas and options to live well.
Changes we need to make to improve our health physically or relationally often seem just too overwhelming. People who have been successful in transitioning to healthier living and sustaining that behavior will share those lifestyle changes typically started with small, intentional steps of just doing the next right thing rather than a massive overhaul in behaviors.
